The Lord will Provide

Written By Eddie Duke

Genesis 22:14 reads

“And Abraham named that place The LORD will provide…”

The name given to God in the Hebrew from this verse is the name ‘Jehovah Jireh’.  It means ‘The LORD who provides’

At this point in Abraham’s life, he had come to experience God as always being faithful, always watching over, and always providing.

As I read this today, I wondered to myself, “Is this the God I know and that I have experienced?  Jehovah Jireh.”  I am challenging myself today to look back at how God has provided for me and how He has watched over me.  I would encourage you to try this.  Use Deuteronomy 2:7 as your guide.

I prayed for you today.  Remember what our goal is for a better path this week – Total Commitment…Transformation Over Conformation…Knowing What God Wants Us to Do
