Choose to be Thankful

Written By Eddie Duke

Ephesians 5:15-17 reads

“Pay careful attention, then, to how you walk—not as unwise people but as wise—making the most of the time, because the days are evil.”

Yesterday, we started talking about how to live thankful.  The best way to live life is to live a thankful life.

Living thankful involves a spiritual choice.

We make the most of the time when we live as wise and not unwise.  That is a choice – a decision that only we can make.

Eleanor Roosevelt once said:

“One’s philosophy is not best expressed in words. It is expressed in the choices one makes. In the long run, we shape our lives and we shape ourselves. The process never ends until we die. And the choices we make are ultimately our responsibility.”

We have a choice on whether we will be thankful or not. Being thankful needs to be expressed and communicated with our words, but it is best expressed when we choose to live it.  I am praying that we will choose to be thankful.
